Integrity is the ethical concept of basing of one's actions on a consistent framework of principles. Integrity
Integrity is the practice of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity can stand in opposition to hypocrisy, in that judging with the standards of integrity involves regarding internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding within themselves apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs. The word ''integrity'' evolved from the Latin adjective ''integer'', meaning ''whole'' or ''complete''. In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. The organization was founded March 2011 by Vancouver businessman Wayne Crookes as a way to help restore accountability and integrity to BC politics. MV American Integrity
MV American Integrity is a ship built in 1978 by Bay Shipbuilding Company in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. She is one of the thirteen 1,000 footers in the Great Lakes laker fleet. She was originally built as ''Lewis Wilson Foy'' and was renamed ''Oglebay Norton'' in 1991. She was renamed again after the sale to American Steamship Company in June, 2006. On September 24, 2017 the American Integrity broke the all-time record for the largest load through the Soo Locks with 75,095 tons of iron ore beating the record held for the last two weeks by the Edwin H. Gott. She was loaded to a draft of 29 ft 7 in on her way to Indiana Harbor. Her overall length is 1000 feet, beam is 105 feet and depth 56 feet. She is able to unload 10,000 tons/hour. ''Integrity'' was a 220-ton merchant ship built at Redbridge, Southampton Redbridge is a ward with a population of 14,432, to the west of the city centre of Southampton, England. The settlement is positioned at the mouth of the River Test and is the southern terminus of the former Andover Canal and Sprat and Winkle ..., England in 1824. She made two voyages transporting convicts from Mauritius to Australia. She was wrecked in the Torres Strait in August 1841. Career Under the command of John Pearson, she left Mauritius on 4 June 1837 with five military convicts, passengers and cargo. HMCS ''Integrity'' was a cutter built by the Colonial Government of New South Wales in 1804. She was the first vessel ever launched from a New South Wales dockyard and carried goods between the colony's coastal settlements of Norfolk Island, Newcastle, New South Wales, Van Diemen's Land and Port Jackson. In 1804 she took part in a series of voyages to Van Diemen's Land with the aim of founding a colony at Port Dalrymple, the site of the modern settlement of George Town, Tasmania.
