Inside The Hollow
''Inside the Hollow'' is the second album by the Canadian all-girl rock band Lillix, released in Canada on 29 August 2006 and Japan on 6 September 2006. It was released in Europe and the United States on 1 January 2007. The first single released from the album was "Sweet Temptation (Hollow)". Its music video was premiered on Yahoo!'s LAUNCHcast on 5 July 2006, and was shown on MTV's ''Making the Video''. The album was made available for listening online via MuchMusic.com, and several songs are available on the band's official MySpace site. Lillix
Lillix () was a pop rock band from Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 1997 when the early members were in high school. The band was originally an all-girl group under the name Tigerlily composed of guitarist Tasha-Ray Evin, keyboardist Lacey-Lee Evin, bassist Louise Burns, and drummer Sierra Hills. In 2001 the band was signed by Maverick Records and changed their name to Lillix as there was another band called Tigerlily. Hills left in 2002 and was replaced by Kim Urhahn, and later by Alicia Warrington, a future ''WWE NXT'' ring announcer under the name Alicia Taylor. Urhahn has been among a rare group of left-handed female drummers. The band was considered on hiatus from late 2006 through 2009 due to the folding of their label, Maverick Records, and officially disbanded after the release of their independent third album in 2010. Maverick was an American entertainment company founded in 1992 by Madonna, Frederick DeMann, and Veronica "Ronnie" Dashev, and formerly owned and operated by Warner Music Group. It included a record label (Maverick Records), a film production company (Maverick Films), book publishing, music publishing, a Latin record division (Maverick Música), and a television production company. James Andrew Michael is an American record producer, musician, songwriter, singer, sound engineer and mixer. He is currently the lead singer of the rock band Sixx:A.M. ''Falling Uphill'' is the first album by the Canadian girl pop rock band Lillix. It released by Maverick Records on May 27, 2003. The album includes a cover version of The Romantics' song " What I Like About You". This song also notably appeared on the ''Freaky Friday'' soundtrack, as well as in The WB comedy series '' What I Like About You''. The single releases are " It's About Time", "What I Like About You", and " Tomorrow". "It's About Time" peaked at #17 on the Japan Top 20 chart, number 5 on ''TRL'', and number 33 on the ''Billboard'' US Mainstream Top 40 Airplay. In 2007, Nielsen certified the song as receiving 50,000 spins. "What I Like About You" failed to chart. "Tomorrow" reached number 48 on '' R&R'' magazine's Pop Airplay chart.
