Insaan (1982 Film)
''Insaan'' () is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Narendra Bedi. The film stars Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna and Reena Roy in the lead roles, with Amjad Khan featuring as the main antagonist. The film was launched in 1976 but faced several delays due to Khanna going to the US, and many other issues. Insaan finally released on 25 June 1982 and received mixed reviews from critics. At the box office it was an average grosser. Plot Shankar is a self-starter who is scorned and expelled from the family by his virago stepmother. However, he well-earns with his hard work and lives buoyant with his wife Sona and a child Munna. By this time, his heinous stepbrothers Narendra Singh, Roop, & Pardhu spoil their share. Narendra Bedi (1937–1982) was a Bollywood director and son of the writer Rajinder Singh Bedi. Birbal
Birbal (; born Mahesh Das; 1528 16 February 1586), or Raja Birbal, was a Saraswat Hindu Bhatt Brahmin advisor and main commander (''Mukhya Senapati'') of army in the court of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. He is mostly known in the Indian subcontinent for the folk tales which focus on his wit. Birbal was appointed by Akbar as a Minister (Mantri) and used to be a Poet and Singer in around 1556–1562. He had a close association with Emperor Akbar and was one of his most important courtiers, part of a group called the ''navaratnas'' (nine jewels). In February 1586, Birbal led an army to crush an unrest in the north-west Indian subcontinent where he was killed along with many troops in an ambush by the rebel tribe. Amit Kumar (singer)
Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music. He was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodeling and ability to sing songs in different voices. Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was very close to Mehmood Ali. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer and musician. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi. Bakshi was fond of writing poetry since his youth, but he did this mostly as a private hobby.
