Innocence And Desire
''Innocence and Desire'' ( it, Innocenza e turbamento) is a 1974 Italian commedia sexy all'italiana film directed by Massimo Dallamano. Plot A young seminarian is back to his family to reflect on the sincerity of his mystical vocation. Here, in a pleasant Sicilian province, he has to face several sexual temptations, even encouraged by his grandfather Don Salvatore, who suffers from satyriasis. When the grandfather dies, Carmela, his young stepmother, will definitively discourage the seminarian from his religious intentions. Massimo Dallamano
Massimo Dallamano (17 April 1917 – 4 November 1976), sometimes credited as Max Dillman, Max Dillmann or Jack Dalmas, was an Italian director and director of photography. Life and career Born in Milan, Dallamano began in the 1940s as cameraman for documentaries and commercials, and after the war he became a cinematographer, specializing in adventure films. Credited as Jack Dalmas he was the cinematographer on Sergio Leone's ''A Fistful of Dollars'' (1964) and ''For a Few Dollars More'' (1965). In 1967 he made his directorial debut with another Spaghetti Western, ''Bandidos''. He went on to direct a dozen more films, including poliziotteschi, giallo films and erotic dramas. Born as Vincenzo Andronico in Palermo, he had a prolific career between theater, cinema and television, appearing in more than 100 films. The commedia sexy all'italiana (, lit. "sex comedy Italian style"), also known as commedia scollacciata or commedia erotica all'italiana, is a subgenre of Italian ''commedia all'italiana'' film genre. Style ''Commedia sexy'' is characterized typically by both abundant female nudity and comedy, and by the minimal weight given to social criticism that was the basic ingredient of the main ''commedia all'italiana'' genre. Stories are often set in affluent environments such as wealthy households. It is closely connected to the sexual revolution, and it was something extremely new and innovative for that period. For the first time, films with female nudity could be watched at the cinema. Pornography and scenes of explicit sex were still forbidden in Italian cinemas, but partial nudity was somewhat tolerated.
