Inger Lise Gjørv
Inger Lise Gjørv (26 May 1938 – 28 March 2009) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Career She was born in Oslo as the daughter of physician Sverre Strand (1906–1992) and housewife Liv Alnæs (1912–2005). She enrolled as a student in 1957, and graduated with the cand.mag. degree in 1962 from the University of Oslo. She also met her husband, Ole Andreas Gjørv, there, and they moved to Sandvollan. From 1963 to 1977 she worked as a high school teacher in Steinkjer. On the local level she was a member of the executive committee of Inderøy municipal council from 1975 to 1979. She chaired the local party chapter from 1973 to 1978. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag in 1977, and was re-elected on three occasions. During her last term, from 1989 to 1993, she was the President of the Odelsting. She was a member of several Standing Committees during her sixteen years in Parliament. Inger Nilsson
Karin Inger Monica Nilsson (born 4 May 1959) is a Swedish actress and singer. She is a former child actress. She is primarily known for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking in the Swedish-produced TV series of the same name during 1969 which was compiled, re-dubbed into German and later also in English and many other languages, and released as two feature films in 1969. In 1970, she reprised her role of Pippi in two subsequent feature films. As of 2005, she works as a secretary in Stockholm, occasionally taking small stage roles. Career Nilsson was eight years old when she was cast as Pippi Longstocking. First, she did a TV series and then four feature films. Inger Miller (born June 12, 1972) is a retired American track and field sprinter who competed in the 100 metres and 200 m. She is the daughter of Lennox Miller, an Olympic champion runner from Jamaica. She attended John Muir High School in Pasadena, California and later the University of Southern California. Miller was a Tournament of Roses Princess in the 1990 court. During her professional career she was a member of HSI. She originally won the bronze medal in the 60 meters at the 1999 IAAF World Indoor Championships, but she tested positive for excessive caffeine after the race. Inger Margrethe Boberg
Inger Margrethe Boberg (July 23, 1900 – May 9, 1957) was a Danish folklore researcher and writer. She studied philology at the University of Copenhagen and received her Master's degree in 1925. In 1927, she stayed at Lund University with the folklore professor Carl Wilhelm von Sydow. In 1934, she obtained the Dr. Phil. degree in folkloristics as the first woman in Denmark. From 1932 to her death, she was archivist at the Danish Folklore archive (''Dansk Folkemindesamling''). However, during many years, she had to occasionally take temporary jobs as a school teacher in order to provide a living for herself. Not until 1952, when she had a long-established name in international folkloristics, she obtained a steady position. In 1945, she received the Tagea Brandt Rejselegat. Inger Louise Valle (28 November 1921 – 21 May 2006) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party, particularly noted for her efforts to reform the Norwegian penal system. She is the mother of professor Jan Grund. Biography She represented Akershus in the Norwegian Parliament in the period between 1977-1981. She also served as Minister of Administration and Consumer Affairs 1971-1972 and Minister of Family and Consumer Affairs in 1972, Minister of Justice and the Police 1973-1976 and 1976–1979, and Minister of Local Government Affairs 1979-1980. Valle also served in the local government of Bærum, and was Norway's first Consumer Ombudsman.
