Indovina Chi Viene A Merenda
''Indovina chi viene a merenda?'' (i.e. "Guess who's coming to tea?") is a 1969 Italian War film, war-comedy film written and directed by Marcello Ciorciolini and starring the comic duo Franco and Ciccio. Plot Sicily 1943: to avoid war, Franco and Ciccio hid in the mountains. Two American paratroopers steal their clothes and leave them their uniforms in exchange, so our "heroes" are captured by the Germans and deported to Germany. They will escape, take refuge on a farm and be the protagonists of chain misadventures. After the war, believed dead, they are safe and sound up there in Germany. Marcello Ciorciolini
Marcello Ciorciolini (16 January 1922 – 5 September 2011) was an Italian screenwriter, director, playwright, television and radio author and lyricist. Life and career Born in Rome, Ciorciolini began his career in 1950 as a radio writer, often collaborating with Alberto Talegalli. Shorty later he entered the cinema industry as screenwriter, specializing in the comedy genre and also directing a number of films. As a lyricist he was author of several hits, notably Mina's "Una zebra a pois" and " Ti guarderò nel cuore", the theme song of ''Mondo cane''. Between 1970s and 1980s he was mainly active as an author of television variety shows. On stage, he was active as an author of revues and comedy plays, and more sporadically of dramas. Ciorciolini was one of the favorite authors of the comic duo Franco and Ciccio, with whom he collaborated in television, cinema and even for some songs. Luigi Bonos (1910–2000) was an Italian comedian and stage, television and film actor. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1945 and 1992. Born in Berlin, Germany, the son of two Hungarian circus artists, along with his brothers Vittorio (1908 - 1966) and Giovanni (1907-1956) Bonos formed a trio of comedians who met large success in the avanspettacolo and revue theater between the 1930s and 1940s. Lino Banfi (born Pasquale Zagaria; 9 July 1936) is an Italian film actor and presenter. He has appeared in more than 100 films since 1960. Biography He was born in the Apulian city of Andria and at the age of three, moved to Canosa di Puglia. Lino Banfi became one of the most well-known actors in Italian "sexy comedies" in the 1970s. In the 1980s he reached the peak of his fame by appearing in movies such as ''L'allenatore nel pallone'', '' Vieni avanti cretino'', ''Il commissario Lo Gatto'' and ''Occhio, malocchio, prezzemolo e finocchio''; he recently portrayed Grandpa Libero in Italian TV series Un medico in famiglia. Franco Franchi (born Francesco Benenato; 18 September 1928 – 9 December 1992) was an Italian actor, comedian and singer. He was born in Palermo, Sicily and began his career in the 1950s, although his career only really took off in the 1960s. He starred in many comedies, mainly appearing together with Ciccio Ingrassia as the comedy duo Franco and Ciccio, but also in more dramatic material such as Luigi Comencini's ''Adventures of Pinocchio'' (1972), in which they paired memorably as the Fox and the Cat.
