The FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup (formerly FIBA Under-17 World Championship) is the under-17 men's world basketball championship organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). The event was held for the first time in July 2010, and is held biennially. Founded on 23 October 1951, the organization has its headquarters in Jakarta. History The association was founded in 1952, when Tony Wen and Wim Latumeten requested by Maladi who was then serving as Secretary of KONI to develop basketball sports organizations Indonesia.
