Indonesia Men's National Ice Hockey Team
The Indonesian national ice hockey team ( id, Tim nasional hoki es Indonesia) is the national men's ice hockey team of Indonesia and has been an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Indonesia is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Ranking and have not entered at any Olympic Games, but have played in one World Championship tournament. History The national team's first ever ice hockey match was a 10–0 loss on 19 January 2017, to Jakarta Dragons at the Bintaro Jaya Xchange Ice Skating Rink in Bintaro, Tangerang. Many of the Indonesian national team's players that partook in the match came from the Batavia Demons, a team that won the 2016 City Cup international ice hockey tournament (B Division invitational with some import player from Taiwan) which was held in Singapore. The national emblem or coat of arms of Indonesia is called ''Garuda Pancasila''. The main part is the Garuda with a heraldic shield on its chest and a scroll gripped by its legs. International Ice Hockey Federation
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF; french: Fédération internationale de hockey sur glace; german: Internationale Eishockey-Föderation) is a worldwide governing body for ice hockey. It is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and has 83 member countries. The IIHF maintains the IIHF World Ranking based on international ice hockey tournaments. Rules of play for IIHF events differ from hockey in North America and the rules of the National Hockey League (NHL). Decisions of the IIHF can be appealed through the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. The IIHF maintains its own hall of fame for international ice hockey. The IIHF Hall of Fame was founded in 1997, and has been located within the Hockey Hall of Fame since 1998. 2023 IIHF World Championship Division IV
The 2023 IIHF World Championship Division IV was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 23 to 26 March 2023 after the original hosts, Kuwait, withdrew from hosting the tournament. Four nations participated in the tournament, including Mongolia, who returned to the World Championships after a ten-year absence. Indonesia and the Philippines made their debut in the World Championships. Originally, the Philippines had made its debut, but withdrew before last year's tournament began due to players, coaches and staffs being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Malaysian national ice hockey team ( ms, Pasukan hoki ais kebangsaan Malaysia) is the national men's ice hockey team of Malaysia. The team is controlled by the Malaysia Ice Hockey Federation and has been an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since 28 September 2006. Ice hockey was part of the 2017 SEA Games held in Kuala Lumpur. The IIHF announced that Malaysia will make its World Championship debut in 2020. The Iran national ice hockey team ( fa, تیم ملی هاکی روی یخ ایران) is the national men's ice hockey team of Iran. The team was founded in June 2016, is controlled by the Islamic Republic of Iran Skating Federation, and on 26 September 2019, became an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Bintaro Jaya is a planned township located in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. It is developed by PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (formerly PT Bintaro Jaya).
