Indian Cricket Team In Ireland In 2022
The India cricket team toured Ireland in June 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. On 1 March 2022, Cricket Ireland announced the schedule. On 15 June 2022, Ireland named their squad for the two-match series. Later the same day, India also confirmed their squad for the matches, with Hardik Pandya named as their captain. The first T20I was delayed by more than two hours due to rain, before the match was reduced to twelve overs per side. Each side fielded a debutant, with Conor Olphert making his international debut for Ireland, and Umran Malik playing his first match for India. Andrew Balbirnie
Andrew Balbirnie (born 28 December 1990) is an Irish cricketer, the current captain of the Ireland cricket team in all formats. Balbirnie is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He was born in Dublin and was educated at St. Andrew's College. He was one of the 11 cricketers to play in Ireland's first ever Test match, against Pakistan, in May 2018. In December 2018, he was one of 19 players to be awarded a central contract by Cricket Ireland for the 2019 season. George Dockrell
George Henry Dockrell (born 22 July 1992) is an Irish cricketer. Dockrell is right-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler who plays international cricket for Ireland after learning his cricket at Leinster Cricket Club, Dublin. He was a member of the class of 2010 in Gonzaga College, Dublin. In December 2018, he was one of nineteen players to be awarded a central contract by Cricket Ireland for the 2019 season. Avesh Khan (born 13 December 1996) is an Indian international cricketer. In December 2015 he was named in India's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in February 2022. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik (born 1 June 1985) is an Indian professional cricketer and commentator who nationally plays for the Indian Cricket Team and currently in Indian Premier League playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
