Indian Society Of Cinematographers
Indian cinematographers work in a number of regional film centres: Chennai for Tamil films, Mumbai for films in Marathi and Hindi, Hyderabad for films in Telugu, Kochi for films in Malayalam, Kolkata for Bengali films, Bangalore for Kannada films, etc. Most Indian cinematographers are known for their work with one regional industry. Some cinematographers belong to various professional organisations and trade unions. Western India Cinematographers' Association (WICA) The Western India Cinematographers Association (WICA) is a society for Indian cinematographers. The society is situated at Mumbai in Maharashtra. Members of this society include the suffix WICA after their name in film credits. Girish Gangadharan ISC (born 13 March 1985) is an Indian cinematographer known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil films. He is the recipient of National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his work in the 2019 film '' Jallikkattu'' directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Chezhiyan is an Indian filmmaker and director of photography who works primarily in the Tamil film industry. He received critical acclaim for his work in ''Kalloori'' (2007), '' Paradesi'' (2013) and '' To Let'' (2017). Amal Neerad (born on 7 October 1976) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and Film producer, producer who mainly works in Malayalam Cinema. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (first batch).
