Indian Racing League
The Indian Racing League (formerly known as the X1 Racing League) is an auto racing championship based in India. It is unrelated to the proposed i1 Super Series that was based on a similar idea. History It is co-founded by Indian professional drivers, Aditya Patel and Armaan Ebrahim. The X1Racing follows the X1Racing eSports Racing season 1, a digital-simulator based racing competition which was held in Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Delhi. For the first season in 2019, the series operated decade-old Formula BMW machinery having originally planned to run Radicals. Just two events were held having scheduled four, and track-time at the second and final round was condensed due to travel constraints. A number of the cars suffered from mechanical problems, halving the field from 12 cars to 6 at the second and final event. The Bangalore Racing Stars team were crowned champions. Wolf Racing Cars is an Italian racing car constructor based in the Province of Brescia. It was founded in 2009 after Avelon Formula purchased the rights of Walter Wolf Racing. Nikhil Bohra (born 25 January 2005) is an American racing driver with Indian roots. He will be competing in the 2023 Formula Regional European Championship for Trident. 2022 Indian Racing League
The 2022 Indian Racing League was a single seater motor racing championship held across India. The series served as a revised reboot of the X1 Racing League and was originally planned to be run alongside the Formula Regional Indian Championship and F4 Indian Championship. These two championships were delayed to 2023, but the Indian Racing League still went ahead. Akhil Rabindra (Hyderabad Blackbirds) won the drivers' title, while Godspeed Kochi won the teams' championship. Oliver "Oli" James Webb (born 20 March 1991 in Manchester) is a British auto racing driver. He is a 2004 Karting Champion, 2007 Formula BMW Scholarship winner, 2010 Formula 3 competitor, 2014 European Le Mans series Champion, 2015 Dubai 24 Hour Champion, and W Motors Ambassador. Aditya Patel (born 8 July 1988) is an Indian racing driver that represents Audi India Motorsport. Prior to this, he has competed in the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup, Polo Cup, Formula BMW Pacific and the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Early career Aditya was given his first taste of motorsport in a Go-Kart at the age of four. He began participating in local Go-Karting events at the age of eleven.
