Outside The Wall (song)
"Outside the Wall" (working titles "Bleeding Hearts", "The Buskers") is a song written by Roger Waters. It appeared on the 1979 Pink Floyd album, ''The Wall''. Overview This song is meant as a dénouement to the album. The story ends with "The Trial", in which a "judge" decrees, ''"Tear down the wall!''". An explosion is heard to signify the wall's destruction, and "Outside the Wall" quietly begins. "The Thin Ice" is a song by Pink Floyd, released on ''The Wall'' in 1979. Composition The song, which is two minutes and 30 seconds in length, begins with the sound of an infant crying. A dive bomber is a bomber aircraft that dives directly at its targets in order to provide greater accuracy for the bomb it drops. Diving towards the target simplifies the bomb's trajectory and allows the pilot to keep visual contact throughout the bomb run.
