''Implements of Hell'' is the seventh studio album by the Belgian aggrotech act Suicide Commando. The title is a reference to the name given by serial killer Albert Fish to the tools used to torture and kill his victims. The track "Severed Head" contains samples from an episode of ''Born to Kill'' which is about the serial killer Edmund Kemper. Suicide Commando
Suicide Commando is a Belgian electro-industrial music act formed by Johan Van Roy in 1986. For live shows, it consists of Van Roy himself on vocals, Torben Schmidt on keyboards, and Mario Vaerewijck on drums. History Van Roy began experimenting with electronic music back in 1986. Two years later he released his first tape under the moniker Suicide Commando, and his track appeared on the vinyl compilation ''Electronic''. He continued to release more tapes until he was signed by the rising German label Off Beat. Van Roy's first album, ''Critical Stage'' was released in 1994. The following year, he released a second album ''Stored Images'', which contains one of his most popular songs, "See You in Hell". In 1996, he released the compilation album ''Contamination'' for the act's tenth anniversary. Sebastian R. Komor (born 7 May 1976) is a Polish-born, Norwegian-raised electronic musician, best known for his collaborative work in Icon of Coil and Zombie Girl. A prolific artist, Komor has also released electronic music under a variety of solo projects and aliases since the late 1990s. Biography Sebastian Komor was born in Zabrze, Poland, in 1976 and moved to Norway in 1981, where he would remain for over twenty years. He first acquired a keyboard in his late teens and released his first music demo in 1992. Throughout the mid-to late-90s, Komor created music in Fredrikstad, where an EBM/industrial scene was flourishing under the influence of local bands such as Apoptygma Berzerk. Xotox is a solo musical project started by Andreas Davids in 1998. History Xotox released several self-published albums from 1998 to 2002, gaining some attention in Germany. After the release of ''Disinhibition'' in 2000, the band started performing live at various venues in Germany, attracting media attention and several favourable reviews. In 2002, songs such as ''eisenkiller'' and ''zweischicht'' went into rotation at numerous clubs in Germany, attracting the attention of the record label Pronoize, which signed them. Edmund Emil Kemper III (born December 18, 1948) is an American serial killer who murdered a total of 10 people, including a 15-year-old girl, as well as his own mother and her best friend, from May 1972 to April 1973, following his parole for murdering his paternal grandparents. Kemper was nicknamed the Co-ed Killer, as most of his victims were female college students hitchhiking in the vicinity of Santa Cruz County, California. He stands at a height of . Electronic body music (acronymized to EBM) is a genre of electronic music that combines elements of industrial music and synth-punk with elements of disco and dance music. It developed in the early 1980s in Western Europe as an outgrowth of both punk and industrial music cultures. Hamilton Howard "Albert" Fish (May 19, 1870 – January 16, 1936) was an American serial killer, Rape, rapist, child molestation, child molester, and cannibalism, cannibal who committed at least three child murders from July 1924 to June 1928. He was also known as the Gray Man, the Werewolf of Wysteria, the Brooklyn Vampire, the Moon Maniac, and The Boogey Man. Fish was a suspect in at least five murders during his lifetime. He confessed to three murders that police were able to trace to a known homicide, and he confessed to stabbing at least two other people. Fish once boasted that he "had children in every state", and at one time stated his number of victims was about 100. However, it is not known whether he was referring to rapes or cannibalization, nor is it known if the statement was truthful.
