Ilunga Government
The Ilunga government, from September 2019 to April 2021, was the Democratic Republic of the Congo government led by Sylvestre Ilunga as Prime Minister. President Tshisekedi signed the nomination order for the Ilunga government on 26 August 2019, and Ilunga assumed office on 7 September 2019. Néné Nkulu Ilunga is a Congolese politician. She is the Minister of State, Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Welfare in the Ilunga Government since September 2019. She is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Alliance of Democratic Forces of the Congo (AFDC) political party, led by Modeste Bahat. She is a member of Union for Democracy and Social Progress. Ilunga was elected as the Member of Parliament for Malemba-Nkulu in 2011, and re-elected in 2018. After serving as a special commissioner, she also served as the deputy governor of Upper Lomami after the first gubernatorial elections in that area. Eteni Longondo
Eteni Longondo (born 1964 or 1965, Kinshasa) is a Congolese doctor and politician. He is a Member of the UDPS, and a Minister of Health in the Sylvestre Ilunga government since September 2019. Early life and education Born in 1964 or 1965 in Kinshasa, Eteni Longondo studied general medicine at the University of Kinshasa. He became a doctor for the DRC football team, then went to Swaziland to become a general practitioner. He then studied public health at University of Washington, and decided to stay in the US to work in the public health department of Seattle. Longondo also worked in several international organizations during his career, such as World Vision, Mercy Corps, Samaritan's Purse, Save the Children and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
