For example, the resort city of Canto Bight located on the planet Cantonica, seen in '' Star Wars: The Last Jedi'' (2017), was filmed in Dubrovnik, Croatia. ''Star Wars'' canon astrography The ''Star Wars'' galaxy contains several broad sub-regions. Their exact definitions fluctuated somewhat during the ''Legends'' continuity, but were later formally updated by the new canon continuity when Disney purchased Lucasfilm.
