O Pino is a municipality of northwestern Spain in the province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia. Santiago de Compostela is the capital of the autonomous community of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. The International Franz Liszt Piano Competition ("Liszt Competition") is an international piano competition. It is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions. The Competition is held in Utrecht (city), Utrecht in the Netherlands. It first took place in 1986, one hundred years after the death of Franz Liszt. Each time the Liszt Competition has been held it has seen over two hundred selected participants. Jean Dubé (born December 3, 1981) is a Canadian concert pianist. In 2002 he won the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition. Life and career Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Dubé began playing piano at the age of 3 and played in public at age 4. A child prodigy, he won a Steinway piano at the age of 9 during the national competition "Jeunes Prodiges Mozart à Paris". The same year, he played as a soloist at the Maison de la Radio with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, live on France Musique.
