''La Cage aux Folles 3: The Wedding'' (french: La cage aux folles 3 – 'Elles' se marient) is a 1985 comedy film and the third and final installment in the '' La Cage aux Folles'' series. Unlike the first two films, which were directed by Édouard Molinaro, this third installment is directed by Georges Lautner. Plot In order to inherit his Aunt Emma's large fortune (which includes a large chunk of Scotland), Albin must marry a woman and father a child, and Renato goes along with the plan in an attempt to save their St. Tropez nightclub. Albin consults marriage broker Matrimonia and tries to act like a conservative heterosexual, but all attempts to conform fail and he considers suicide. When all hope seems to be lost, Renato and Albin meet a suicidal young woman, Cindy, who decides that marrying Albin may be better than death. Georges Lautner
Georges Lautner (; 24 January 1926 – 22 November 2013) was a French film director and screenwriter, known primarily for his comedies created in collaboration with screenwriter Michel Audiard. Lautner's ventures into other genres were less successful though the thriller Le Professionnel starring Jean-Paul Belmondo was a big commercial hit in France in 1981. He was born in Nice, the son of actress Renée Saint-Cyr. Antonella Interlenghi
Antonella Interlenghi (born 6 August 1960) is an Italian stage, film and television actress. She is also known as Antonellina Interlenghi. Life and career Born in Rome, Interlenghi is the daughter of the actors Antonella Lualdi and Franco Interlenghi. She made her acting debut (credited as Phoenix Grant) in the 1977 Gianfranco Parolini adventure film ''Yeti: The 20th Century Giant''. In the 1980s she appeared in a number of films, mainly comedy and adventure films. She is also active on stage, where she notably worked with Giorgio Strehler, and on television.
