Ikast is a Denmark, Danish town in the Mid Jutland Region (''Midtjylland''). It is the seat of Ikast-Brande Municipality since 2007. It was the seat of the former Ikast Municipality. Ikast FC
Ikast FC is an association football club based in the town of Ikast, Denmark, that competes in the Series 1, the sixth tier of the Danish football league system and the second tier of the regional DBU Jutland. Founded in 2018 as a superstructure of between the amateur departments of Ikast FS and Ikast KFUM, it is affiliated to FC Midtjylland, which is itself a superstructure established in 1999 between the professional departments of Ikast FS and Herning Fremad. FC Midtjylland Academy
FC Midtjylland Academy is the youth academy of FC Midtjylland. The academy consists of youth teams on under-19, under-17 and under-15 basis. History FC Midtjylland Academy is the first Danish football academy based on the academy of FC Nantes Atlantique. All the players live at Sportcenter Ikast, where they also train up to nine times a week. Around eight players in every year usually get a contract with the club. The academy places the social development of its scholars as a priority, and every student follows a regular schooling at either Idrætsefterskolen i Ikast, Ikast Handelsskole or Ikast Gymnasium and takes part in the daily life of the school.
