Ignacio A. Santos School Of Medicine
The Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine (Escuela de Medicina Ignacio A. Santos, aka: EMIS) is the medical school division of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). Established in 1978 in Monterrey, Mexico. The School of Medicine was founded to satisfy the country's need for high quality medical training and innovation in biomedical research. Currently, there are approximately 500 students enrolled in the M.D. program and about 105 postgraduate students. Aside from the medical doctor program, the School of Medicine also offers a joint M.D.-Ph.D. program with Houston Methodist Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas A&M Health Science Center, and other Bachelors in Nursing, Nutrition Sciences and Biomedical Engineering. Breast Surgery
Breast surgery is a form of surgery performed on the breast. Arturo Santos García is a Mexican ophthalmologist and clinical researcher. He currently serves as the director of the Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine Tecnológico de Monterrey, at the Guadalajara campus. Academic training Arturo Santos received his medical education at the Ignacio A. Santos School of Medicine in Monterrey, Mexico. He graduated in 1989. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Asociación Para Evitar la Ceguera (APEC) in Mexico City. Strabismus is a vision disorder in which the eyes do not properly align with each other when looking at an object. The eye that is focused on an object can alternate. The condition may be present occasionally or constantly. If present during a large part of childhood, it may result in amblyopia, or lazy eyes, and loss of depth perception. If onset is during adulthood, it is more likely to result in double vision. Strabismus can occur due to muscle dysfunction, farsightedness, problems in the brain, trauma or infections.
