Iftikhar Ahmed (Urdu & ps, افتخار احمد; born 3 September 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is in playing-eleven in T20 format of Pakistan National Cricket Team. In Pakistan Super League, he has previously played for Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and now is in Quetta Gladiators. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November 2015. He was born in Peshawar, Pakistan into a Pashtun family. Domestic career He was the leading run-scorer for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with 735 runs in eleven matches. On 27 January 2017, he made 131 not out and took 3 wickets for 12 runs in the final of the 2016–17 Regional One Day Cup. He was jointly named man of the match along with Gauhar Ali. Iftikhar Ahmed (Faisalabad Cricketer)
Iftikhar Ahmed (born 14 December 1984) is a Pakistani cricketer who played for Faisalabad. Having played for Kasur in inter-district cricket for several seasons, Ahmed made his first-class debut for Faisalabad in the 2014–15 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Silver League, playing in four of the team's six matches in the competition. He also played in three List A matches in the President's Silver Cup One Day. After Faisalabad failed to qualify for first-class cricket the following season, he continued to play for the team in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy GradeII competition. Agha Iftikhar Ahmad ( ur, افتخار احمد; born 4 November 1950) is a Pakistani research journalist and a political activist. Ahmad started his career in 1980, after his release from jail and joined ''Jang Media Network'' and held a senior position in the Network. Ahmad is currently serving as Director of Elections, Investigations, Special Projects, and Research (EISPAR) for the Geo News Network (GNN). Iftikhar Ahmad (barrister)
Barrister Iftikhar Ahmad (born 5 December 1949, Peshawar) is a Pakistani barrister, political activist and former military officer. He served in the Pakistan army between 1968-78. He fought in East Pakistan in 1971 and was a PoW in India. After the 1977 military coup, he resigned from the army, as a serving Major, in protest against General Zia's Martial Law. He began a period of exile in London and became a close associate of Mir Murtaza and Shah Nawaz Bhutto in the struggle against dictatorship, having joined the Pakistan Peoples Party in 1979. He later became a close aide to Benazir Bhutto and returned to Pakistan during Zia's rule, only to be jailed and tried in a court martial. After a successful appeal against a death sentence, he was released and became a prominent & respected PPP figure, serving as Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, and later, as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan.
