''If the Stars are Eternal So are You and I'' is the seventh studio album by composer and electronica artist BT, and was released on June 19, 2012, in tandem with ''Morceau Subrosa'', BT's eighth studio album. Development First announced in March 2012, BT described ''If The Stars Are Eternal So Are You And I'' as a "follow-up" to his critically acclaimed and praised fifth studio album, '' This Binary Universe''. While ''If The Stars Are Eternal So Are You And I'' was supposed to be released in mid-May 2012 after ''Morceau Subrosa'' (which was originally scheduled for release in April 2012), both albums missed their release windows. Glitch is a genre of electronic music that emerged in the 1990s. It is distinguished by the deliberate use of glitch-based audio media and other sonic artifacts. The glitching sounds featured in glitch tracks usually come from audio recording device or digital electronics malfunctions, such as CD skipping, electric hum, digital or analog distortion, circuit bending, bit-rate reduction, hardware noise, software bugs, computer crashes, vinyl record hiss or scratches, and system errors. This Binary Universe
''This Binary Universe'' is the fifth studio album by the composer and electronica artist BT. It was released on August 29, 2006. The album was a significant about-face for Transeau, largely abandoning the progressive trance music he was known for, in favor of ambient soundscapes, live orchestration and glitch music. It is the first BT album not to be released on vinyl, nor feature any singles (though an edit of "1.618" was featured on a compilation). The album was also composed specifically for DTS 5.1 surround sound. A film version of the album received a limited theatrical run, usually accompanied by appearances by Transeau himself. The album is dedicated to Transeau's daughter, Kaia. The album's artwork makes nods to binary by spelling BT's name in morse code on the cover, as well as using additional morse code on the DVD menus. Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to leave Black Hole Recordings, setting up the record label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group. ''These Hopeful Machines'' is the sixth studio album by American electronic musician BT. Released on February 1, 2010, the album sees collaborations with the likes of JES, Rob Dickinson, Christian Burns and Kirsty Hawkshaw, also featuring a cover of "The Ghost in You" by The Psychedelic Furs. Because some tracks exceed 10 minutes in length, the album spans two discs with six tracks on each. In an effort to make the album more accessible to casual listeners, the record was eventually re-issued as a single-disc version with shorter tracks, titled ''These Humble Machines''.
