"If You're Over Me" is a song recorded by British synthpop band Years & Years. Written by Olly Alexander and its producer Steve Mac, it was released on 10 May 2018 by Polydor Records, as the second single from the band's second studio album, '' Palo Santo'' (2018). The music video was directed by Fred Rowson with choreography by Aaron Sillis. The song was performed live on both the Palo Santo Tour and the Night Call Tour. Years & Years is the solo project of British singer Olly Alexander. Originally formed as a band in 2010, Years & Years' music has been described as electropop, mixing R&B and 1990s house elements. The band's debut studio album, '' Communion'', debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart in July 2015 and was the fastest-selling debut album of the year from a UK signed band. Their biggest hit single "King" from ''Communion'' reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in March 2015, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Ireland and Switzerland. NOTD (pronounced "noted") is a Swedish musical production duo composed of Tobias Danielsson and Samuel Brandt. They are best known for their songs " I Wanna Know" featuring Bea Miller and " So Close" with Felix Jaehn featuring Captain Cuts and Georgia Ku. Background The duo met on SoundCloud and began creating remixes together before they found out they would be attending the same high school. The duo chose the name NOTD by combining the last two letters of each of their last names and reversing them. Their remix of "Scars to Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara was released in 2016.
