''Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne 2003'' was the first season of '' Idol Norway'' based on the British singing competition '' Pop Idol''. It premiered in January and was aired until May 23, 2003 with Kurt Nilsen Kurt Erik Nilsen () (born 29 September 1978) is a Norwegian pop/country singer. He won the first season of the Norwegian reality show ''Idol'', which aired on TV 2 in May 2003. He then won a one-off international version of ''Pop Idol'' called ... winning. Ole Evenrud
Ole Evenrud (born November 17, 1962) is a Norwegian pop artist and teenpop producer. He had his big time in the 1980s under the name Ole i'dole. After the 1980s he has operated as a musical producer. He was Head of A&R at Polygram Norway from 1993 until 1998, then became a full-time producer, while being the Head of Universal A&R until 2000. Since, Ole has had success with producing many teen-pop acts, such as A*Teens, Creamy and Little Trees (band), Little Trees. Knarvik
Knarvik (or Knarrviki) is the administrative centre of the municipality of Alver (municipality), Alver in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the mainland, about straight north of Bergen at the confluence of four fjords: Osterfjorden (heading east), Sørfjorden (Osterøy), Sørfjorden (heading southeast), Salhusfjorden (heading southwest), and the Radfjorden (heading northwest). "All by Myself" is a song by American singer-songwriter Eric Carmen released in 1975. The verse is based on the second movement (''Adagio sostenuto'') of Sergei Rachmaninoff's circa 1900–1901 '' Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor'', Opus 18. The chorus was taken from the song "Let's Pretend", which Carmen wrote and recorded with the Raspberries in 1972. The slide guitar solo was performed by studio guitarist Hugh McCracken. Background and composition According to Carmen, he first wrote the solo part of the song, writing four bars at a time, eventually completed the interlude after two months. He needed to put this into a song, and after listening to Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto, a piece famously used to underscore the 1945 British film ''Brief Encounter'', he adapted the melody of its second movement to write the verse.
