''Ictinogomphus dobsoni'' is a species of dragonfly in the family Lindeniidae which was formerly part of the family Gomphidae, and known as the Pilbara tiger. It is a medium to large, black dragonfly with yellow markings and clear wings. ''Ictinogomphus australis'', known as the Australian tiger, is a species of dragonfly in the family Lindeniidae, which was formerly part of the family Gomphidae. It is found near rivers, lagoons, lakes and ponds. They are large dragonflies (wingspan 100mm, length 70mm) with eyes widely spaced on top of the head. Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) is a project undertaken by Parks Australia Division of Australia's Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (DEWHA).
