Harima Sea
Harima Sea () is the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea in Japan. Located on the south side of the southwestern part of Hyogo Prefecture (formerly Harima Province), it is bounded by Awaji Island to the east, Shodoshima to the west, and Shikoku in the south, with the Ieshima Islands in the northwest. The area of the sea is approximately , and the depth is around , however in some areas the depth exceeds . An important route crosses from the Kinki region to the Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions. There are many rocky reefs, which are good fishing grounds for sea bream. Rivers are designated as Class A or Class B river systems by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). The Ibo River (揖保川) is a river in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The Ibo, Kako, Ichi, Yumesaki, and Chikusa rivers are collectively referred to as the Harima Gokawa, the five major rivers that flow into the Harima Sea. Ikuno, Hyōgo
was a town located in Asago District, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,872 and a density of 43.50 persons per km2. The total area was 112.01 km2. On April 1, 2005, Ikuno, along with the towns of Asago (former), Santō and Wadayama (all from Asago District), was merged to create the city of Asago and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
