Luc Jacquet (born 5 December 1967) is a French film director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed the film ''March of the Penguins'', which won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature in 2005 and received a nomination for the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Documentary Screenplay. He also directed '' The Fox And the Child''. It was released in Britain and Ireland in slightly re-edited dubbed English-language version with narration by Kate Winslet, and was released in the United States on 29 February 2008. Claude Lorius
Lorius (born 1932) is a French glaciologist. He is director emeritus of research at CNRS. He was the director of the Laboratoire de glaciologie et géophysique de l'environnement in Grenoble from 1983 to 1988. He has taken part in more than 20 polar expeditions, mostly to Antarctica, and has helped organise many international collaborations, notably the Vostok Station ice core. He was instrumental in the discovery and interpretation of the palaeo-atmosphere information within ice cores. The 68th Cannes Film Festival was held from 13 to 24 May 2015. Joel and Ethan Coen were the Presidents of the Jury for the main competition. It was the first time that two people chaired the jury. Since the Coen brothers each received a separate vote, they were joined by seven other jurors to form the customary nine-juror panel. French actor Lambert Wilson was the host for the opening and closing ceremonies. The Palme d'Or was awarded to the French film ''Dheepan'' directed by Jacques Audiard. On winning the award Audiard said "To receive a prize from the Coen brothers is something pretty exceptional. I'm very touched". The festival poster featured Hollywood star and Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman, photographed by David Seymour.
