Ibrahim Gusau
Ibrahim Gusau is a Nigerian politician and former minister for Agriculture and Industries. Early life and education Gusau was born on 25th January 1945 in Sokoto, Sokoto State. Ibrahim Gusau started his elementary education at the Gusua Elementary School. He then transferred to Sokoto Central Elementary School before finishing his secondary education at Sokoto Middle School. He enrolled in Clerical Training College at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria after completing his secondary education. Career Ibrahim Gusau worked for the Sokoto Native Authority as a clerical officer from 1944 to 1946, a senior accountant from 1946 to 1948, a chief accountant from 1948 to 1950, the supervisor-in-chief of adult education, public enlightenment, and community development from 1951 to 1960, an assistant chief scribe from 1960 to 1963, and the registrar of Sultan's Court from 1963 to 1964. Sokoto is a major city located in extreme northwestern Nigeria, near the confluence of the Sokoto River and the Rima River. As of 2006 it has a population of over 427,760. Ahmadu Bello University Zaria is a federal government research university in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. ABU was founded on 4 October 1962, as the pioneer university in Northern Nigeria. Agriculture or farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Garba Nadama
Garba Nadama (1938 – 4 May 2020) was a Nigerian politician who was the second civilian governor of Sokoto State, Nigeria, in the short-lived Nigerian Second Republic, holding office from January 1982 to November 1983. He succeeded Shehu Kangiwa, who had died in a polo accident. Biography Garba Nadama obtained a Ph.D. in history from Ahmadu Bello University in 1977. Nadama was a fierce rival of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) nomination for Sokoto deputy governor in 1979. He was described as a quiet, urbane and principled conservative politician. In July 1982 Sokoto State received a N96 million loan from the World Bank. Umaru Abdulrahman Dikko (31 December 1936 – 1 July 2014) was a Nigerian politician. He was an adviser to President Shehu Shagari and served as minister for transportation from 1979 to 1983. Early life Dikko was born in Wamba. Wamba is small village near Zaria in Kaduna state of northern Nigeria.
