Ian Ramsey Church Of England Academy
Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy (formerly Ian Ramsey Church of England School) is a mixed Church of England secondary school located in Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. It is named after Bishop Ian Ramsey, a former Bishop of Durham. The new Head of the School (as of April 2015) is Brian Janes the Executive Headteacher is Gill Booth, who came to support Ian Ramsey from Venerable Bede in Sunderland after it was put into special measures by Ofsted, which led to the resignation of the former Headteacher Janet Wilson in May 2014. The school is always oversubscribed. Ian Ramsey Church of England School converted to academy status on 1 December 2014 and was renamed Ian Ramsey Church of England Academy. Academic standards The school was awarded specialist status in Languages in 1999. The November 2007 Ofsted Report rated ''Ian Ramsey'' school as ''"good"''. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. 1993 England Rugby Union Tour Of Canada
The 1993 England rugby union tour of Canada was a series of five matches played by the England national rugby union team in Canada in May and June 1993. England won four matches and lost one. They drew their two-match international series against Canada, losing the first game and winning the second. Hartlepool United
Hartlepool United Football Club is a professional association football club based in Hartlepool, County Durham, England. The team competes in League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league system. They were founded in 1908 as Hartlepools United Football Athletic Company. West Hartlepool won the FA Amateur Cup in 1905 and after the club was dissolved in 1910 its assets and liabilities were subsequently taken over by Hartlepools United, who were then playing in the North Eastern League. Hartlepools United were elected into the Football League in 1921 and would spend the next 37 years in the Third Division North, at which point they were placed into the Fourth Division. Jonathan Ian Franks (born 8 April 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Whitby Town. Allison Curbishley
Allison Curbishley (born 3 June 1976) is a former British athlete from Stockton-on-Tees but who represented Scotland. She specialised in the 400m. A play scheme in the summer holiday when she was ten years old got Curbishley interested in sport and although athletics was the sport she eventually chose she also reached county standard in netball and field hockey. She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences. During her career her knee was operated on six times, and the injury finally led to her retirement in 2003. Lee Barry Cattermole (born 21 March 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. An England youth product, Cattermole has earned a reputation as a tough-tackling midfielder due to his lengthy disciplinary record.
