Ian Maxfield
Ian John Maxfield (born 23 June 1959) is a former Australian politician. Born in Warragul, Victoria, he graduated from Drouin High School in 1976. In 1979, he received an A-Grade Electrical Mechanic and Motor Control certificate from Noble Park TAFE and became an electrician. In 1986, he became an organiser with the Shop Assistants Union. In 1999, Maxfield was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the Labor member for the Liberal-held seat of Narracan The electoral district of Narracan is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly in Australia. Gary Blackwood (politician)
Gary John Blackwood (born 6 June 1951) is a former Australian politician. He was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly between November 2006 and November 2022, representing the electorate of Narracan. Early life Blackwood was born and raised in Warragul. He studied economics and politics at Monash Teachers College (later Rusden State College), but after a year of national service in 1972, followed his father into the timber industry, operating his own timber transport and harvesting business from 1973 to 2003. He served as the chief executive officer of the Victorian Forest Harvesting and Cartage Council from 2003 until his election to parliament in 2006. Florian Andrighetto (born 24 February 1953) is an Australian politician. He was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1996 to 1999, representing the electorate of Narracan. Andrighetto was born in Fara, Italy. He served in the Victoria Police from 1976 to 1996, serving for the last six of those years as a police prosecutor. He also served as a member of the Tarago Water Board from 1991 to 1994, including a stint as chairman from 1993 to 1994. Andrighetto was preselected as the Liberal candidate for the Liberal-held seat of Narracan for the 1996 state election, defeating current Narracan MLA Gary Blackwood. He went on to defeat Labor candidate and future Morwell MLA Brendan Jenkins in the election.
