I Fichissimi
''I fichissimi'' (Italian for "The really cool guys", also known as ''Guys and Dolls in the Suburbs'') is a 1981 Italian comedy film directed by Carlo Vanzina. The film consists in a story of rival punks in Milan and it is loosely based on the William Shakespeare's tragedy '' Romeo and Juliet''. Plot Milan, early 1980s. The Milanese Romeo and the Apulian Felice lead two rival gangs. Romeo falls in love with Giulietta without knowing she is the sister of Felice. Carlo Vanzina
Carlo Vanzina (13 March 1951 – 8 July 2018) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter. Vanzina was born in Rome, the son of Maria Teresa Nati and film director Stefano Vanzina and brother of Enrico Vanzina. In English-speaking countries, he is likely best known for his 1985 giallo '' Nothing Underneath'', starring Donald Pleasence and Renee Simonsen, which received a substantial home video release and aired on cable frequently. He would effectively remake his own film in 2011 as ''The Last Fashion Show'' with Richard E. Grant. Many of his projects were made for Italian television with English-speaking actors, and in turn these films received English-language home video releases in America. He frequently worked with models-turned-actresses such as Renee Simonsen, Carole Bouquet, Carol Alt, Lauren Hutton, and Elle Macpherson. Mauro Di Francesco
Mauro Di Francesco (born 17 May 1951) is an Italian actor, comedian and television personality. Life and career Born in Milan, Di Francesco started his career in the mid-1960s as a child actor appearing in some RAI miniseries. In the 1970s, he started performing as a comedian at the Derby Club, a cabaret nightclub in his hometown. In the 1980s, after appearing as a sidekick of Diego Abatantuono in a number of films, he had the peak of his career starring in a number of teen comedies. Also active on stage and on television, following an alcohol abuse problem in 2011 Di Francesco underwent a liver transplant. Ugo Bologna
Ugo Bologna (11 September 1917 – 29 January 1998) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Milan, the son of a municipal employee and a housewife, in 1936 Bologna started working as a primary school teacher, and in 1939 he attended the course for cadet officers in the former italian city of Pula. A lieutenant during World War II, he was wounded during a battle, and then received a bronze medal for military valor. In 1950 he decided to give up his teaching profession and devote himself to acting. After enrolling an acting course under Isabella Riva he made his stage debut with the Fantasio Piccoli's company. Even if mostly cast in character roles, Bologna was one of the most active actors in Italian cinema in 1970s and 1980s, usually in comedic roles. Active as a voice actor, in 1970 Bologna founded in Milan the dubbing company "CDM" (Cooperativa Doppiatori Milanesi).
