"I Give You Give" is a 1995 single by the British pop group Five Star Five Star (also styled as 5 Star) are a British pop group, formed in 1983 and comprising siblings Stedman, Lorraine, Denise, Doris and Delroy Pearson. Between 1985 and 1988, Five Star had four top 20 albums and 15 top 40 singles in the UK .... It was the band's final single as a five piece band, and was released on their family label Tent Records. The single reached #83 in the UK Singles Chart. The single was released in three different coloured sleeves: blue, orange and white. The video features four members of the band dancing in yellow high visibility jackets, though lead singer Denise was unable to dance at the time as she was pregnant with her second child. Five Star (also styled as 5 Star) are a British pop group, formed in 1983 and comprising siblings Stedman, Lorraine, Denise, Doris and Delroy Pearson. Between 1985 and 1988, Five Star had four top 20 albums and 15 top 40 singles in the UK, including the top 10 hits " System Addict" (1986), "Can't Wait Another Minute" (1986), " Find the Time" (1986), " Rain or Shine" (1986), " Stay Out of My Life" (1987) and "The Slightest Touch" (1987). They won the 1987 Brit Award for Best British Group. Biography 1980s The five-piece group of siblings from Romford were masterminded by their father and manager, Buster Pearson, who modelled them in the style of the Jackson 5. He was a former recording artist and session musician who had worked with Wilson Pickett and had set up Tent Records Ltd in 1982. ''Heart and Soul'' is a 1994 album by the British pop group Five Star. It was the group's first album for three years, released independently on their own label, Tent Records. It was first released in the US in 1994, and released in the UK in 1995 featuring completely different artwork from the US version. A tent () is a shelter consisting of sheets of fabric or other material draped over, attached to a frame of poles or a supporting rope. While smaller tents may be free-standing or attached to the ground, large tents are usually anchored using guy ropes tied to stakes or tent pegs. Doris Pearson
Doris Pearson (born Doris May Pearson, June 8, 1966) is an English singer and ex member of the pop group, Five Star. Career Doris Pearson, the eldest of the three Pearson sisters, was born in Brent, London. She was the choreographer of the group, teaching the other members of Five Star the dance routines to their hits. She, like the other members, sang backing vocals and wrote songs for Five Star albums. Her first self-penned song, an uptempo pop track "Don't You Know I Love It", appeared as a b-side to their second UK Top 10 and biggest US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 hit, "Can't Wait Another Minute", and later popped up on their multi-million selling 1986 album, '' Silk And Steel''. Buster Pearson (4 May 1941 – 14 October 2012), born Stedman Pearson in Jamaica, was a musician and producer, and father and former manager of British pop group Five Star. He also owned and ran a number of record labels, most notably the 1970s reggae label K&B Records and the 1980s R&B/dance label Tent Records.
