I Don't Think It Is
''I Don't Think It Is'' is the seventh full-length studio album by American rock band Say Anything. Release On February 2, 2016, frontman Max Bemis sent out a message stating "You know what? We're gonna stream our whole new record and drop it on Friday. Enjoy. #IDontThinkItIs." The album was then available to be streamed through the Equal Vision Records YouTube channel. On February 5, the album was released to digital music retailers and other streaming services. In April and May 2017, the group went on co-headlining US tour with Bayside with support from Reggie and the Full Effect and Hot Rod Circuit. To promote the tour, Say Anything covered Bayside's "They're Not Horses, They're Unicorns", while Bayside covered Say Anything's "Night's Songs". Reception ''I Don't Think It Is'' was met with polarizing reception from critics and fans alike. Say Anything is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2000 by Max Bemis and his friends, and within two years, self-released two EPs and a full-length album. In 2003, the band signed with their first label, Doghouse Records. A year later, they released their second album, '' ...Is a Real Boy''. To support the album, they picked up new members and began touring; however, despite rapidly growing critical and fan acclaim, Bemis' health problems, including bipolar disorder and drug addictions, sidelined the band in 2005 as five band members left during the year. Say Anything signed with J Records in 2005 and, following Bemis' successful rehabilitation, re-released ''...Is a Real Boy'' with their new label. JamisonParker were an American emo duo in the early to mid-2000s, consisting of singer/guitarist Jamison Covington and guitarist/bassist/drummer Parker Case. In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, sounds or entire bars of music, and may be layered, equalized, sped up or slowed down, repitched, looped, or otherwise manipulated. They are usually integrated using hardware ( samplers) or software such as digital audio workstations. A process similar to sampling originated in the 1940s with '' musique concrète'', experimental music created by splicing and looping tape.
