I (Juju Album)
''I'' is the seventh studio album by Japanese singer Juju. It was released on February 21, 2018, through Onenation. "I" became Juju's first solo number-one album on the Oricon Albums Chart. Background ''I'' is Juju's first album in nearly a year and a half, since '' Snack Juju: Yoru no Request'', and first studio album in over two years, since '' What You Want''. The first pressing of the album includes a DVD featuring eight performances from Juju's Juju-en Special: Snack Juju Arena Tour 2017 concert held at Yokohama Arena on July 11, 2017. On November 6, 2017, Juju will announced she will be embarking on the Juju Hall Tour 2018 "I" in support of the album. The tour is set to commence on April 22, 2018 at the Mori no Hall 21 in Matsudo, Chiba. Juju (singer)
(born February 14, 1976) is a Japanese jazz and jpop singer. She is represented by Sony Music Associated Records Biography She currently resides in New York City. She dreamed of being a jazz singer while growing up in Kyoto, and participated in all sorts of music-related activities. At age 18, she left for the US alone. While in New York, she was very taken with the "New York sound," including jazz, R&B, hip-hop, soul, Latin music, and house. Around 2001, Juju began to be featured in a number of works by other artists. In 2002, she provided music for the film ''Kyōki no Sakura''. In 2004, she debuted with her first single "Hikaru no Naka e". The same year, concurrent with her musical activities in New York, she started performing live in Japan. Oricon Albums Chart
The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units. Charts are published every Tuesday in Oricon Style and on Oricon's official website. Every Monday, Oricon receives data from outlets, but data on merchandise sold through certain channels does not make it into the charts. Gorō Matsui
is a Japanese lyricist born 11 December 1957 in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, though he considers Tokyo to be his hometown. Beginning with participation in the Yamaha Popular Song Contests, he made his debut writing the lyrics for the 1981 Chage and Aska album . Matsui then began writing lyrics for groups such as Anzen Chitai, Kyosuke Himuro, and others, becoming one of the more popular lyricists for a variety of rock bands. He has now written the lyrics for over 2000 songs. Since the late 1980s, most of the lyrics for the music released by Anzen Chitai has been written by Matsui.
