IWRG Prisión Fatal
Prisión Fatal (English: "Deadly Prison") is both the name of a major show series promoted by the Mexican ''Lucha Libre'', or professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) as well as the name of the match that always main events the show. The Prisión Fatal match is a steel cage match where the participants are chained to the cage, with the last person in the cage being forced to either unmask or have their hair shaved off according to ''Luchas de Apuestas'' traditions. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Tag team wrestling is especially prevalent in lucha libre, particularly matches with three-member teams, called ''trios''. The event took on May 25, 2014, at "Arena Naucalpan" in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, IWRG's main venue. The show was the third overall show promoted under the ''Prisión Fatal'' name and the first of two shows in 2014 billed as ''Prisión Fatal''. The main event was the eponymous ''Prisión Fatal'' ( Spanish for "Deadly Prison") Steel cage match where the last person remaining in the cage was forced to unmasked or shaved bald as per the match stipulation. The ''Prisión Fatal'' match included Eterno, El Hijo de Pirata Morgan, El Hijo de Máscara Año 2000 and X-Fly. The event took on June 23, 2013, at "Arena Naucalpan" in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, IWRG's main venue. The show was the third overall show promoted under the ''Prisión Fatal'' name and the first of two shows in 2014 billed as ''Prisión Fatal''. The main event was the eponymous ''Prisión Fatal'' ( Spanish for "Deadly Prison") Steel cage match where the last person remaining in the cage was forced to unmasked or shaved bald as per the match stipulation. The ''Prisión Fatal'' match saw Dr. Cerebro face off against X-Fly where the two competitors were chained together by a long steel change that was attached to a dog collar around their necks. The main event was the eponymous ''Prisión Fatal'' ( Spanish for "Fatal Prison") Steel cage match where the last person remaining in the cage was forced to unmasked or shaved bald as per the match stipulation. The ''Prisión Fatal'' match included Rayo de Jalisco, Jr., Máscara Año 2000, Jr., Cien Caras, Jr. and Pirata Morgan. Of the four Rayo de Jalisco, Jr. and Cien Caras, Jr. are both masked and risked their masks while Máscara Año 2000, Jr. and Pirata Morgan were unmasked and thus put their hair on the line.
