IWRG Intercontinental Tag Team Championship
The IWRG Intercontinental Tag Team Championship (''Campeonato Intercontinental de Parejas IWRG'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling tag team championship promoted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) since 2000. As it is a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers. On occasion the promotion declares a championship vacant, which means there is no champion at that point in time. This can either be due to a storyline, or real life issues such as a champion suffering an injury being unable to defend the championship, or leaving the company. El Hijo de Canis Lupus and Rey Leon are the current champions, having defeated Los OGs (Joey Marx and Mason Conrad) on December 4, 2022 to win the titles. Fernando Antonio Cornejo Soto (born October 9, 1998) is a masked Mexican professional wrestler (''luchador enmascarado'' in Spanish) best known under the ring name El Hijo de Canis Lupus. He is primarily known for working for International Wrestling Revolution Group and Pro Wrestling Noah where he portrays a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. Sensei (born September 16, 1978) is a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, currently working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He previously worked for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) as Fantasy where he won several titles. Sensei's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Eustacio Jiménez Ibarra (March 21, 1976 – November 29, 2010) was a Mexican ''Luchador'' '' enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler better known by the ring name of El Hijo de Cien Caras. The name is Spanish for "the Son of Cien Caras." He was not, however, related to wrestler Cien Caras, but instead paid Cien Caras for the rights to use the ring name, a practice not uncommon in Lucha Libre.
