ITV News (weekend Bulletins)
''ITV Weekend News'' is the national news bulletins on the British television network ITV at a weekend. However it is often referred to on guides as ''ITV News'' (morning), ''ITV Lunchtime News'' (lunchtime), ''ITV Evening News'' (evening) and ''ITV News'' (late-night) in-line with the respective weekday bulletins. They are produced by ITV News/ ITN. History The four broadcasts which air morning, lunchtime, early evening and late-night feature British national and international news stories, as well as a round-up of the weekend's sports news. All are followed by a national and regional ITV Weather forecast. The morning bulletin usually follows ITV's simulcast with CITV. The ''ITV Weekend News'' is presented by a pool of on air staff from across the ITV News portfolio. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. In this way, multiple shots are obtained in a single take without having to start and stop the action. This is more efficient for programs that are to be shown a short time after being shot as it reduces the time spent in film or video editing. Lucrezia Gaia Millarini (born 18 February 1976) is an English journalist and television presenter currently employed by '' ITV News''. Early life Lucrezia Gaia Millarini was born on 18 February 1976 into a family of Italian descent. Before starting her career in journalism, Millarini studied law at Bristol University and went on to train as a barrister. Initially working for a local radio station in Oxford, Millarini joined ITN's digital operation in London, reporting for the digital 24-hour rolling news channel. Carol Barnes
Carol Lesley Barnes (13 September 1944 – 8 March 2008) was a British television newsreader and broadcaster. She worked for ITN from 1975 to 2004. Early life Barnes was born in Norwich, and attended St Martin-in-the-Fields High School for Girls, Tulse Hill, London. She did not like school, and left at the age of 16, taking a number of jobs for a year, before leaving to study for A levels at a local college of further education. She graduated from Sheffield University with a degree in English, French and Spanish, followed by a postgraduate teaching diploma ( PGCE) at the University of Birmingham. Matt Barbet
Matthew Barbet (born 8 June 1976) is a British television presenter and journalist, best known for his work with Channel 5 and ITV. In 2003, Barbet joined BBC News, where he worked on various news programmes. In September 2007, he left BBC News so he could join 5 News. He covered some of the broadcaster's main news events. Mark William Austin (born 1 November 1958) is an English journalist and television presenter, currently working for '' Sky News''. Austin is best known as the former co-newscaster for the ''ITV Evening News'', alongside Mary Nightingale, and the former co-newscaster of the ''ITV News at Ten'', alongside Julie Etchingham. Pamela Armstrong (born 25 August 1951 in Kalimantan, Borneo) is a British journalist and news presenter. Background Armstrong's career in journalism started with Capital Radio where she presented the daily news and current affairs programme '' London Today''. Paul Brand is a Welsh journalist who is UK editor of ITV News. He has been presenter of current affairs programme ''Tonight'' since 2022. He was formerly a political correspondent for ITV News. Romilly Sarah Weeks (15 December 1973 in Paddington, London) is an English journalist who is a political correspondent and news presenter for ITV News. Media career After a career in acting, Weeks entered broadcast journalism. She has travelled extensively while reporting for ITV News. Geraint V. Vincent is a British journalist, currently employed by ITN as a Correspondent for '' ITV News''. Christopher Ship is an English journalist and presenter, working for ITV News. Since 2017, he has been the Royal Editor. Early life and education Ship was brought up in Southampton in Hampshire, and educated at Bellemoor School for Boys (since renamed Upper Shirley High School), a state comprehensive school in the city, where Craig David was a pupil, followed by the University of Sussex, where he studied Media and French.
