ISU Junior Grand Prix In Russia
The ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) in Russia (titled Cup of Mordovia in 2016) is an international figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. Russia organized the JGP Final for the first time in December 2012, in Sochi, and will host a qualifying event in September 2016 in Saransk. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which is held concurrently with the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Matyáš Bělohradský (born 7 June 2001) is a retired Czech figure skater. He is a two-time Czech national champion (2019, 2022). Anna Alexeyevna Pogorilaya (russian: Анна Алексеевна Погорилая; born 10 April 1998) is a Russian figure skater. She is the 2016 World bronze medalist, a three-time European medalist (silver in 2017; bronze in 2015 and 2016), and the 2016 Russian national bronze medalist. The 2021–22 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 24th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2021–22 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points.
