ISU Junior Grand Prix In The Netherlands
The ISU Junior Grand Prix in the Netherlands is an international figure skating competition. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union, it is held in the autumn in some years as part of the JGP series. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which is held concurrently with the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Yukina Ota
is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2003 World Junior champion and the 2004 Four Continents champion. She announced her retirement from competitive skating in November 2008, due to injury. Career Ota won the bronze medal at the 2000–2001 Japan Junior Championships. In the 2001–2002 season, Ota made her Junior Grand Prix debut. She won her event in Bulgaria and placed 4th at the event in Sweden to qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Final, where she placed 6th. She won a second bronze medal at the 2001–2002 Japan Junior Championships, which qualified her for the 2002 Junior Worlds. She placed 9th at that competition. Liudmila Nelidina
Ludmila Nelidina (russian: Людмила Нелидина; born 7 December 1984) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. She is the 2001 Nebelhorn Trophy champion and 2002 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist. Career Nelidina competed for Russia until 1998, when she briefly switched to competing for Azerbaijan. She switched back to skating for Russia the following year. Her highest placement at a senior-level ISU Championship was 13th at the 2003 World Championships. Irina Vyacheslavovna Nikolaeva (russian: Ирина Вячеславовна Николаева, born 26 September 1983) is a Russian former figure skater. She won three gold medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and qualified for two JGP Finals, where she finished as high as fourth. She also placed fourth at the 1999 World Junior Championships. Cynthia Phaneuf (born January 16, 1988) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. She is the 2004 Four Continents silver medallist, 2004 Skate Canada International champion, 2004 Skate America silver medallist, a two-time (2004, 2011) Canadian national champion, and a four-time (2005, 2009, 2010, 2012) Canadian silver medallist. Kristina Alexandrovna Oblasova (russian: Кристина Александровна Обласова; born 11 September 1984, in Moscow) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. Eliot Halverson
Eliot Jon Halverson (born November 8, 1990) is an American figure skater. As a men's singles skater, she is the 2007 US Junior National Champion. Personal life Halverson was born in Bogotá, Colombia and was adopted from Colombia at age five months. She lived and trained in Saint Paul, Minnesota from her move to the United States until 2008, when she began training in Ann Arbor. Halverson's parents are divorced and she lives with her mother. Artem Igorevich Borodulin (russian: Артём Игоревич Бородулин, born 9 March 1989) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2008 World Junior silver medalist and competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics, finishing 13th. Personal life Artem Borodulin was born on 9 March 1989 in Perm, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Stephen Carriere (born June 15, 1989) is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 2007 World Junior champion, 2006 JGP Final champion, and 2008 U.S. national bronze medalist. During his career, he has won two Grand Prix medals, one Challenger Series medal, and four other senior international medals. Personal life Carriere was born in Melrose, Massachusetts.
