''I'm OK, You're OK'' is the third studio album by Jason Falkner, released in Japan on April 30, 2007, on Noise McCartney Records. A U.S. version was released on February 16, 2010. This edition featured two differences from the Japanese release, an entirely new version of "This Time" and a different mix on "The Knew." It was also increased in volume 4.5 dB although the mastering EQ stayed the same. It is available in both CD and double vinyl formats. Retrieved September 15, 2018. Jason Falkner
Jason Falkner (born June 2, 1968) is an American songwriter, musician, and guitarist who was a member of the bands Jellyfish (band), Jellyfish, the Three O'Clock, and the Grays (band), the Grays. Since 1996, he has released six solo albums, starting with ''Presents Author Unknown''. He is also a session musician and producer who has contributed to dozens of recordings by other bands and musicians. Early bands Falkner joined the Three O'Clock, as a guitarist (and composer of one song) on their final album ''Vermillion (album), Vermillion'', released in 1988 on Prince's Paisley Park Records label. However, the band broke up shortly afterwards." Power Pop
Power pop (also typeset as powerpop) is a form of pop rock based on the early music of bands such as the Who, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and the Byrds. It typically incorporates melodic hooks, vocal harmonies, an energetic performance, and cheerful sounding music underpinned by a sense of yearning, longing, or despair. Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Chamber pop (or Chamber rock; also called baroque pop and sometimes conflated with orchestral pop or symphonic pop) is a music genre that combines rock music with the intricate use of string section, strings, horn section, horns, piano, and vocal harmony, vocal harmonies, and other components drawn from the orchestral and lounge music, lounge pop of the 1960s, with an emphasis on melody and texture (music), texture. Bliss Descending (EP)
''Bliss Descending'' is the first released extended play by Jason Falkner, released on October 19, 2004 by Wreckhords Records. Critical reception The EP received highly positive reviews from music critics. Tim Sendra of AllMusic wrote that each song “...would have sounded great on an album, no filler to be found”. He praised the EP’s production and songcraft as well as Falkner’s vocals, calling the songs “Moving Up” and “The Neighbor” the best songs from the release. In a track-by-track review for PopMatters, Gary Glauber criticized the “weak rhyming” of “The Neighbor”, but praised tracks such as “Moving Up” and “Lost Myself”. In summation, Glauber writes, “Listening to Falkner's music is a joyous event -- his ebullience inspires smiles all around. ''All Quiet on the Noise Floor'' is the fourth studio album by American musician Jason Falkner, released in Japan on September 2, 2009 on Noise McCartney Records. The album was exclusively released in Japan; a U.S. release was tentatively scheduled for the end of 2009 but never occurred. It has since seen digital release for download and streaming. One edition of the record included a DVD that featured a July 28, 2008 performance and "rehearsal footage with Quruli before the Fuji Rock Festival." All instruments on the album were played by Falkner.
