I'm Alright (Loudon Wainwright III Album)
''I'm Alright'' is a 1985 album by Loudon Wainwright III. It was his third release on Rounder Records, recorded in London. It was produced by Richard Thompson, who also played electric lead guitar on several songs. The back cover features a photo of the two together, captioned 'Loud and Rich'. The poignant "Screaming Issue", one of Wainwright's few collaborations – this time with Terre Roche of The Roches – was never compiled, nor has it appeared on a live album. It concerned his then infant daughter Lucy Wainwright Roche, who has since played and recorded with him. This album continued Wainwright's reinvention of himself as an acoustic-based artist, and was the first of his Richard Thompson produced collaborations, which would peak critically the following year with '' More Love Songs''. Richard Thompson continued to tour with Wainwright, and Danny Thompson of Pentangle into the late 1990s. His most recent appearance on a LW3 album was 2003's '' So Damn Happy''. Th ...

I'm All Right
"I'm All Right" is the opening track of '' Half the Perfect World'', Madeleine Peyroux's third solo album. The song was composed by Walter Becker, Larry Klein and Madeleine Peyroux. It was released as a single and Peyroux sang it in her " Live from Abbey Road" episode. When she was awarded with BBC Best International Jazz Artist in 2007, this was the chosen song for the CD with the winning performers. Song information In this song, Peyroux tells to her former lover she is "all right," despite all that has happened. She remembers how he used to make her laugh, how he sang Christmas songs in bed. The lyrics also recall how he made her cry on the day he got drunk and threw a few of her things around. However, throughout the song she accepts that he is gone and eventually lets him know that she has been alone before and that she therefore is, or will be, all right. According to an interview Peyroux gave in 2006, when a demo of the song was presented to her by Larry Klein, she im ...

''The Lost Tapes'' is the eighth studio album by British girl group Sugababes and their first independent release. While work for the album dates back to 2012 when the original lineup reunited and concluded in 2014, the album remained unreleased until 24 December 2022. ''The Lost Tapes'' is the second Sugababes album to feature the original lineup after 2000's ''One Touch''. Now (Shania Twain Album)
''Now'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain and her first in 15 years. It was released on September 29, 2017 by Mercury Nashville. The album was produced by Twain alongside Ron Aniello, Jake Gosling, Jacquire King and Matthew Koma. Following a severely weakened singing voice caused by Lyme disease and dysphonia, Twain took an indefinite hiatus from music beginning in the mid-2000s, and at one point was unsure if she would ever be able to sing again. Following intense vocal rehabilitation and a successful concert residency in Las Vegas, '' Shania: Still the One'', she began planning a new studio album in 2013. Written solely by Twain, ''Now'' is her first studio album in which she assumed an integral role in its production, co-producing every track. It is also Twain's first album since her 1993 self-titled debut studio album to not be co-written with or produced by her ex-husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Her first studio album since '' Up!'' (20 ...

You Gotta Go There To Come Back
''You Gotta Go There to Come Back'' is the fourth studio album by alternative rock band Stereophonics. Produced by Kelly Jones and released on V2 in 2003, this LP became their third consecutive album to top the UK chart, selling 101,946 copies in its first week alone. It is the final Stereophonics album to feature long-time original drummer Stuart Cable before he was fired in September 2003. Recording Kelly Jones produced the album himself, working fast in hoping to capture the "vibe" of the band's concerts; "I wanted to create a record that was very raw, very spontaneous but had loads of detail and textures and layers," Jones noted, "We pushed ourselves in many places we've never been before." He later recalled that recording the album was, for many years, the best recording experience the band ever had, saying: "All the crew were in the room, all the girlfriends were in the room, all the band were there, it was the best recording session ever. It just felt like a fucking reall ...

If I Left The Zoo
''If I Left the Zoo'' is the third full-length studio album of the band Jars of Clay. It was released November 9, 1999, by Essential Records. Overview The band's third album brought about another stylistic shift, away from the lush sound of ''Much Afraid'' and into more of a raw and quirky pop/rock sound with occasional folk overtones. Keyboard player Charlie Lowell was featured much more prominently on this album. Due to the influence of producer Dennis Herring and drummer Ben Mize, this album had more of a Counting Crows influence. This album produced several Christian radio singles, most notably "Unforgetful You", which also appeared in the soundtrack to the 1999 film ''Drive Me Crazy''. Album title The band found a picture in a stock book of an elephant whom they have affectionately named 'Agnes. They bought the picture for the album cover and then had to come up with a title. Before landing on the name ''If I Left the Zoo'', the band tried working the titles ''Already, No ...
