Beverly Ann Bremers (born March 10, 1950) is an American singer and actress. After roles on Broadway, Bremers recorded the 1972 Top 20 hit single, "Don't Say You Don't Remember". Early life/ career Beverly Bremers - her surname is pronounced ''breemɛrs'' (rhymes with dreamers) - was born in Chicago, but within three years had relocated with her family to St. Louis. Bremers had sung for fun from an early age and, at age eight, she began studying acting. After relocating with her family to the New York City area when she was aged ten, Bremers began singing in local talent shows. Scepter Records was an American record company founded in 1959 by Florence Greenberg. History Florence Greenberg founded Scepter Records from the $4,000 she received after she sold Tiara Records and the Shirelles to Decca Records. When the Shirelles didn't produce any hits for Decca, they were given back to Greenberg, who promptly signed them. By 1961, Greenberg had launched a subsidiary, Wand Records. Bruce Roberts is an American singer and songwriter. His songs have been recorded by such artists as The Pointer Sisters, Donna Summer, Barbra Streisand, Jeffrey Osborne, Whitney Houston and Laura Branigan. He has released three albums as a solo artist including ''Intimacy'' (1995), which featured musical and vocal contributions by many notable artists; Elton John and Kristine W contributed to the single "When the Money's Gone". Norman Bergen (born May 17, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York, United States) is an American pianist, arranger, record producer, band leader, musical director, and vocalist. Biography Early years Norman Bergen comes from a musical family. He is the younger son of Pauline and Sam Bergen. The largest item in their small apartment was a baby grand piano which was played by his mother Pauline. His older brother Danny played trumpet. Norman started playing piano at the age of three. Bergen’s early influences were the pianists played by New York DJs Alan Freed and Symphony Sid: Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Thelonious Monk, Ramsey Lewis, and Dave Brubeck.
