"I'll Go" is a song by American neo soul/ R&B singer Rahsaan Patterson. It was co-written, co-produced by Patterson and Steve Hurley, never officially released on any Patterson albums. R&B singer Donell Jones recorded his ''cover'' of the tune that appears on the soundtrack album, ''Love & Basketball'' released in April 2000. Rahsaan Patterson (born January 11, 1974) is an American singer and actor, best known for portraying "The Kid" on the 1980s television show ''Kids Incorporated.'' Career 1984: ''Kids Incorporated'' After appearing in a school talent show in 1984, Patterson auditioned for the television show ''Kids Incorporated''. He was cast as "The Kid", and remained on the show for the next few years, appearing alongside such future stars as Fergie, Renee Sands, Martika, Mario Lopez and Shanice. ''Music from the Motion Picture Love & Basketball'' is the soundtrack to Gina Prince-Bythewood's 2000 film ''Love & Basketball''. It was released on April 18, 2000 through Overbrook Music/Interscope Records, and mostly consisted of contemporary R&B with some hip hop music. The soundtrack was a minor success, peaking at number 45 on the ''Billboard'' 200, number 15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 1 on the Independent Albums. The Spinners (American R&B Group)
The Spinners are an American rhythm and blues vocal group that formed in Ferndale, Michigan, United States, in 1954. They enjoyed a string of hit singles and albums during the 1960s and 1970s, particularly with producer Thom Bell. The group continues to tour, with Henry Fambrough as the only original member.
