I've Been Waiting For You (ABBA Song)
"I've Been Waiting for You" is a song recorded in 1974 by Swedish pop group ABBA, released first as the B-side to the single " So Long". It was included on their album ''ABBA'', released April 1975. In Australia, it was released as a single in 1975 with " King Kong Song" as its B-side, reaching number 49, and in New Zealand in 1977, where it reached number 8. Fältskog sings the lead vocal on the song with guitars by Janne Schaffer. The cassette version of the album contains an extended version of the song that repeats the third verse and chorus. ''Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'' version ''I've Been Waiting for You'' was released on July 13, 2018, alongside the soundtrack of ''Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'', by Capitol and Polydor Records. Gina, Dale Haze And The Champions
Gina, Dale Haze and the Champions are an Irish pop group who formed in 1973 and remained a successful chart act for the next two decades. They were one of the most popular club acts in Ireland, playing on the showband circuit until their retirement in 1992. In 2009 they staged a reunion (with all the original members) and they continue to perform at selected venues around Ireland. Background The group, originally from Cork, consisted of a four-piece backing band (The Champions) and two lead singers (Gina and Dale Haze). The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent (historian), David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Princess Anni-Frid Synni Reuss, Countess of Plauen (born Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad on 15 November 1945), also known by her nickname "Frida", is a Norwegian-born Swedish singer, songwriter and environmentalist, who is best known as one of the founding members and lead singers of the Swedish pop band ABBA.
