Annie Esmond (27 September 1873 – 4 January 1945) was a British stage and film actress. Esmond was born in Surrey, England. Charles Childerstone
Charles Childerstone (3 July 1872 – 29 May 1947) was an English operatic tenor and actor who after a career on the stage including a period with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from 1896 to 1903 later had a career on the music halls and in film. His theatrical career spanned four decades and included musical comedy and the legitimate theatre. Early life Childerstone was born in Enfield, Middlesex, the son of Frederick Childerstone, a lockfitter, and Emma ''née'' Everett. Herbert Smith (1901–1986) was a British film producer. He was born on 30 June 1901 in London. He started in production with G.B. Samuelson, joined Paramount British for the production of The Officer's Mess, then in 1932 went to work for his elder brother Sam at British Lion as assistant director on The Frightened Lady, The Calendar, Whiteface, There Goes the Bride, Sally Bishop, The Ringer, King of the Ritz.
