Héctor Vargas
Héctor Vargas (born 15 March 1959) is an Argentinian soccer, football manager who has worked primarily in the Liga Nacional de Honduras and is currently manager of Real C.D. España, Real España. Club career As a player, Vargas started his career at Estudiantes de La Plata, Estudiantes, before having spells at Club Atlético Temperley, Temperley, Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, Gimnasia and in Colombia. Managerial career Vargas alo started his managerial career at Estudiantes de La Plata, Estudiantes, before moving to Honduras to take charge of Pumas UNAH, Universidad in 1997. He then managed C.D.S. Vida, Vida, Pumas UNAH, Universidad again, Platense F.C., Platense and from 2007 Comayagua F.C., Hispano. He returned at Platense in May 2009. In January 2012 he was appointed manager of C.D. Victoria, Victoria, where he stayed until 4 December 2013 when he was appointed manager of C.D. Olimpia.

2014–15 Honduran Liga Nacional
The 2014–15 Honduran Liga Nacional season was the 49th Honduran Liga Nacional edition, since its establishment in 1965. For this season, the system format remained the same as the previous season. The tournament began on 1 August 2014 and has ended in May 2015. On 20 December 2014, C.D. Motagua obtained its 13th national title after defeating C.D. Honduran Supercup
The Honduran Supercup is a Honduran football competition held yearly as a preseason match between the reigning champions of the Liga Nacional and the Honduran Cup. The competition started unofficially in 1997, but it was discontinued after just two seasons. In 2015, it was intended to be reactivated, however the match between F.C. Motagua and Club Deportivo Olimpia was scheduled but not played. One year later, a new Supercup edition was finally reestablished after 17 years of dormancy. The Honduran football authorities however, did not consider the competition official until 2017.
