Hà Nội FC (1956)
Hà Nội 1956 Football Club. ( vi, Câu lạc bộ bóng đá Hà Nội 1956), commonly referred to as Hà Nội ACB a.k.a. Tổng Cục Đường Sắt, was a Vietnamese football club based in Hanoi. They played in the V.League (Vietnam), V.League, which is the premier division in Vietnamese football. In the early years, Hanoi 1956 had name ''General Department of Railways'', or ''Vietnam Railways'', was a famous semi-professional football team in Vietnam from 1956 until its dissolution in 2000. The Hanoi-based club was placed under the management of the General Department of Railways, Vietnam Railways Administration. They won their first national championship at the 1980 Vietnam National Football Championship. Many of the team's players are now famous football coaches in Vietnam, including Le Thuy Hai, Mai Duc Chung, Le Khac Chinh... The club was dissolved before the start of the 2013 season. Hang Day Stadium, also known as Hanoi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches. The stadium holds 22,500 spectators. In the period from 2000 to 2003, the stadium was called Hanoi Stadium. On April 24, 2003, the historic name "Hàng Đẫy" was restored. Hàng Đẫy is located in the center of Hanoi. Before the construction of Mỹ Đình National Stadium, it was where Vietnam hosted football matches of both the men and women's as well as the Olympic teams. The stadium also was the ground for various sporting and cultural events of Hanoi and Vietnam. In 1998, the opening, the Group B and the Tiger Cup 1998 Final matches took place here. Vietnamese National Football Super Cup ( vi, Siêu cúp bóng đá Việt Nam), also called the Thaco National Football Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is Vietnamese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous V.League 1 season and the holders of the Vietnamese Cup. If the V.League 1 champions also won the Vietnamese Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. Vietnamese Cup
Vietnamese National Football Cup ( vi, Giải Bóng đá Cúp Quốc Gia Việt Nam), now officially recognized as the BaF Meat National Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a Vietnamese football competition. It is one of the most important club competitions in Vietnam. The Vietnamese Cup was first held in 1992. Cảng Sài Gòn was the first cup winners. Format Entry is open to all teams that compete in the V.League 1 (Champions League) and the V.League 2 (First League). The two teams that reach the final are exempt from the preliminary rounds of next year's competition. The cup winners qualify for the AFC Cup (relative equivalent of the UEFA Europa League). Vietnamese National Cup winner will be also qualified for a single match of the Vietnamese Super Cup against the V.League 1 champion. 1980 V-League
1980 saw the inaugural national football championship in Vietnam known locally as the Vietnam National A1 Football Cup. Seventeen teams took part in the competition that was played in two stages; a Group stage featuring 3 groups of 6 and 5 teams and a Championship stage featuring the three group winners. Originally there are 18 teams, with 8 from Hồng Hà League in the North, 2 from Trường Sơn League in the Central and 8 from Cửu Long League in the South.
