Hyrum Harris
Hyrum Tipene Harris (born 3 June 1996) is a New Zealand professional basketball player for the Perth Wildcats of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He is also contracted with the Wellington Saints of the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL). Early life Harris was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Hamilton. He grew up playing soccer and rugby league. Professional career NZNBL (2015–2019) After playing for the Super City Rangers during the 2015 New Zealand NBL season, Harris relocated to the United States to play college basketball for the Umpqua Community College in Oregon during the 2015–16 season. He played for the Rangers in 2016 and 2017 before joining the Hawke's Bay Hawks in 2018. The 2021 NBL season was the 40th season of the National Basketball League. As a result of the modified, COVID-affected 2020 season, three of the top four teams in 2019 (Wellington Saints, Hawke's Bay Hawks and Southland Sharks) did not compete. 2020–21 NBL Season
The 2020–21 NBL season was the 43rd season of the National Basketball League since its establishment in 1979. A total of nine teams contested in the 2020–21 season. The regular season was played between January and June 2021, followed by a post-season in June 2021. 2015 New Zealand NBL Season
The 2015 NBL season was the 34th season of the National Basketball League. The season draw was supposed to be released in December 2014, but the withdrawal of Otago and Waikato prompted a rethink for the 2015 competition format.
