Hyllie IK
Hyllie () is an area and former city district ( sv, stadsdel) in the central of Malmö Municipality, Sweden. On 1 July 2013, it was merged with Limhamn-Bunkeflo, forming Väster. In 2012, Hyllie had a population of 32,998 of the municipality's 307,758. The area was 901 hectares. Though the name of the district has changed the area is still referred to as Hyllie. Hyllie Water Tower
The Hyllie Water Tower, in the Hyllie district of the Swedish city of Malmö, was designed by the architect Karl Ivar Stål for Kjessler & Mannerstråle (now part of WSP Sweden) and completed in 1973. The tower is white and has the shape of a flying saucer. It is high and holds of water. It is operated by the local water organisation for southeastern Skåne, VA SYD, and has a small public park at its base. It is Malmö's newest water tower, and its design the result of the winning proposal in an architectural competition. The proposal called "Drabant" was carried out by Kjessler & Mannerstråle from Stockholm. Its construction cost was 8.6 million SEK. Hyllie Water Tower, which is by the Øresundståg railway line and one of the first things which can be seen after entering Sweden from Denmark, is a popular Malmö symbol and is lit blue at night, or other colours for special occasions. Anthony David Junior Elanga (born 27 April 2002) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Manchester United and the Sweden national team. Stadionområdet (''The stadium district'') is an area in Malmö, Sweden. The area is the home of two major stadiums, an ice hockey arena, an indoors arena, and several training facilities for association football, ice hockey and track and field sports. Venues Training facilities The area features several training facilities for numerous sports. Most notably the area features five football fields that are located south of Stadion (Malmö), Stadion. Two of these fields are fitted with artificial turf and located on the south side of Stadiongatan from the rest of the area. The fields are primarily used by Malmö FF, IFK Malmö, and various minor football clubs. Indoor football facilities are located in Kombihallen, which is located southeast of Stadion. Kombihallen is used by Malmö FF during the colder periods of the year when outdoor training is complicated due to snowfall. The old country road was therefore adapted to follow the elevation of the terrain.
