Hydriomena Impluviata
The May highflyer (''Hydriomena impluviata'') is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is found across the Palearctic region and the Near East although its range is largely determined by the presence of its larval food plant. The species was first described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. The wingspan is 30–34 mm and it is quite variable in markings, the best identification feature being four square spots along the costa of each forewing, although these may not be visible in the frequent melanic forms. "Individual specimens of ''coerulata'' (synonym of ''impluviata'') bear a very close resemblance to ''Hydriomena ruberata ''Hydriomena ruberata'', the ruddy highflyer, is a moth of the family Geometridae. The species was first described by Christian Friedrich Freyer in 1831. It is found from Ireland and Great Britain east to north-western Russia, and south up to ...''. Hydriomena Clarkei
''Hydriomena clarkei'' is a species of moth in the family Geometridae. This species is endemic to New Zealand. It is classified as "At Risk, Declining'" by the Department of Conservation. Taxonomy This species was first described by George Howes in 1917 and named ''Chloroclystis clarkei''. Howes used a specimen collected by Charles E. Clarke in March at Flagstaff Hill in Dunedin and named the species in his honour. George Hudson discussed and illustrated this species in his 1928 book ''The Butterflies and Moths of New Zealand''. In 1988 John S. Dugdale placed this species within the genus '' Hydriomena''. The holotype specimen is held at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. The genus level classification of this moth is currently regarded as unsatisfactory. As such the species is also known as ''Hydriomena'' ('' s.l.'') ''clarkei''. Description Howes described the female adult of the species as follows: Distribution This species is endemic to New Zealand. It has occurre ...

Hydriomena Deltoidata
''Hydriomena deltoidata'' is a species of moth in the family Geometridae. It was first described by Francis Walker in 1862. This species is endemic to New Zealand. The classification of New Zealand endemic moths within the genus ''Hydriomena'' is regarded as unsatisfactory and in need of revision. As such this species is currently also known as ''Hydriomena'' ( s.l.) ''deltoidata''. The adults of this moth are known to pollinate '' Dracophyllum acerosum'' and '' Leptospermum scoparium''.
