Lernaean Hydra
The Lernaean Hydra or Hydra of Lerna ( grc-gre, Λερναῖα Ὕδρα, ''Lernaîa Hýdra''), more often known simply as the Hydra, is a snake, serpentine water monster in Greek mythology, Greek and Roman mythology. Its lair was the lake of Lerna in the Argolid, which was also the site of the myth of the Danaïdes. Lerna was reputed to be an entrance to the Hades, Underworld, and archaeology has established it as a sacred site older than Mycenaean civilization, Mycenaean Argos, Peloponnese, Argos. In the canonical Hydra myth, the monster is killed by Heracles (Hercules) as the second of his Labours of Hercules, Twelve Labors. UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie
is a Japanese manga series created by Kaishaku. The series was adapted into a 32-episode anime series and one specially released OVA episode by TNK. Seasons 1 and 2 were broadcast in Japan on Kids Station between 2002 and 2004. The anime series was released on DVD in Japan between 2002 and 2006. ''Hydra'' is the sixth studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation. It was released on January 31, 2014 in Europe and on February 4, 2014 in North America. The album contains guest appearances by singer Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage), rapper Xzibit, metal vocalist Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish) and alternative rock singer Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum). Satariel (band)
Satariel is a death metal band from Sweden founded in 1993 in Boden. History Satariel recorded its first demo in 1994; titled ''Thy Heavens' Fall'', which consisted of traditional black metal sounds. The band released their debut album, ''Lady Lust Lilith'', in 1998 on Pulverised Records. Over its first four albums up to 2007, the band increasingly mixed melodic death metal with black metal and technical death metal, sometimes drawing comparisons to Opeth and Insomnium. ''Hydra'' is the sixth studio album by the heavy metal band Otep. It was released in 2013 on Victory Records. ''Hydra'' is a concept album. This is their only album to feature drum programming as opposed to live drums. It is the band's last album on Victory, as they completed their three-album contract with this record. Hydra (band)
Hydra is an American Southern rock band founded in 1970 by Spencer Kirkpatrick (guitar), Wayne Bruce (vocals and guitar), Steve Pace (drums) and Orville Davis (bass). In 1977, it became a three-piece band (with Wayne Bruce now on bass) and the band broke up later that year. It released three albums, ''Hydra'' (1974), ''Land of Money'' (1975) and ''Rock the World'' (1977). In 2005, the band reunited for two shows (with Vickery on bass). A live album, ''Hydra: Live After All These Years'' was released. Career Pace and Kirkpatrick first played together in 1968 in the band Strange Brew. Wayne Bruce was playing with the band Nickelodian and accepted the offer to join Pace and Kirkpatrick in the short-lived Noah Mayflower. ''Kirby Air Ride'', known in Japan as , is a 2003 racing video game starring Kirby, developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the GameCube.
